Artist Statement

Through early exploration in the studio, I arrived at a creative approach that effectively produces a chorus of voices within one song; thousands of individual parts collectively constructing a dimensional likeness of a given subject.  Amidst the complexity of the work, I’m pleased to recognize the subject as well as the uniqueness of my own contribution.

Working in mixed media, I discovered a way to accommodate my creative interest in several mediums along with a curiosity that extends beyond the surface of a subject. The pseudo-scientific lens of my work allows me to explore the composition in any number of ways. However, referencing sciences like entomology and forensics without obligation to them affords me the creative license so invaluable to artists.
